LEGEND OF MERCURY - SENSITIVE BATTLEFIELD

Sensitive battlefield is a short film, running in loop like its heroine through its vast landscape. Trough snippets of voice notes, she is retelling the story of a daily sensation, an unintentional occurence.

Zoe Metra is a french visual artist, based in Paris. Through film and installation, she assembles emblematic elements of the visual culture of the 2010s, enabling her to create narratives that deviate from their initial readings. She challenges reality by portraying real people who flirt with fiction through reinvented personal mythologies. Her practice refers to childhood and adolescence as mental spaces to be re-explored.
